My home was built in the 1950s. It’s a simple brick ranch with a few retro features, but as with any older home sometimes these features need to be fixed up a bit. Today’s projects included pulling up and flipping a stepping stone path. The path had faded from red to gray over the years, so I decided to flip them and reconfigure the path. It was three rows of medium-sized rectangles. After many hours of flipping the stones and flattening out the ground, half of it now has a pattern that’s more reflective of the 1950s–a combination of horizontal and vertical rectangles. Tomorrow, I’ll tackle the other half.
After spending so much time adding a retro touch to my home, I figured today’s owl should reflect that era as well!
